Onyemaechi Backs Chelle To Lead Super Eagles To Success

Super Eagles defender Bruno Onyemaechi has thrown his support behind Eric Chelle, insisting the Franco-Malian remains the right man to lead Nigeria.

Softfootball reports that Onyemaechi’s position differs from former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh, who has previously questioned the appointment of a foreign coach for the national team.

Chelle took charge with the responsibility of reviving Nigeria’s World Cup qualification campaign and improving the team’s overall consistency. His early period in charge has attracted considerable attention as supporters continue to demand stronger performances from the Super Eagles.
