Reports reaching Softfootball confirm that Christopher Nkunku has shut down any speculation surrounding his future, insisting he never considered leaving AC Milan during the January transfer window.
The French forward made his stance crystal clear, saying:
“I never considered to leave AC Milan in January, no way. AC Milan are the biggest club in Italy and here we want to win titles. I want to be here. It’s been an easy choice.”
Nkunku, who currently earns €9.3 million per year at the San Siro, reiterated that his motivation for joining the Rossoneri is silverware. His comments underline a strong commitment to Milan’s long-term ambitions and their push to re-establish dominance both domestically and in Europe.
The former Chelsea attacker joined AC Milan in the summer of 2025 after the Italian giants agreed a €35 million deal with the Premier League side. At the time, Nkunku explained that Milan’s sporting project convinced him “from the first mention,” a stance he has now emphatically reinforced.

The news was confirmed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, further validating Nkunku’s loyalty and putting an end to January exit rumours.
he stated:
