Ndidi reflected on the match by stating:
It was a difficult game, we stayed on till they scored the first goal. We knew we were still in the game we were just unlucky we conceded the first goal. We were still in it because we were together, stayed compact.
Ndidi emphasized that the team remained organized against a top opponent despite the eventual scoreline.
The midfielder also expressed relief at returning to the starting lineup after being sidelined since December. Ndidi noted feeling amazing physically and stressed the importance of maintaining his fitness as the club faces a congested fixture list in their battle to avoid relegation from the English top flight.
