Marcus Rashford wants to stay at Barcelona beyond his loan spell

Marcus Rashford has revealed that he intends to continue at Barcelona beyond his loan spell, Softfootball reports.

The 28-year-old has been a key figure for Hansi Flick’s side since he joined the club from premier league giants, Manchester United in the summer. He was part of the Barcelona squad that beat Villareal 2-0 in their last LaLiga match.

According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, Rashford is ready to make his move permanent with the Catalan giants. He shared an interview were the England international talked about his future. He posted:

Marcus Rashford: My future? I want to stay at Barça. This is my goal… But it’s not the reason that makes me train hard and give my all, told Sport. The goal is to win. Barcelona is a huge and wonderful club, built to win titles.

Barcelona Sporting Director, Deco hinted at signing Rashford permanently after his loan spell at the end of the season. Rashford has enjoyed a resurgence in form in Barcelona, with his renewed confidence and impactful performances proving the loan gamble to be a success so far.

Reports claim that it would cost Barcelona in the region of 30million pounds to sign Marcus Rashford at the end of the current season.
