The home side drew out a very good save from Manchester United’s goalkeeper Senne Lammens as Declan Rice delivered a very inviting ball and Martin Zubimendi rises highest to meet it but the Belgian was able to push it over the bar.

Arsenal eventually opened scoring when Piero Hincapie broken free from Amad and delivered superb cross from the left but Patrick Dorgu failed to clear as his header fell to, Bukayo Saka inside the penalty box and he clips the ball to Martin Odegaard. The Arsenal skipper’s slices a shot towards goal and with Jurrien Timber in close attendance, the ball bounces off the heel of Argentine centre-back Lisandro Martinez and went into the net.

Michael Carrick’s side did not hold back as his Manchester United side pressed Arsenal high and forced a horrible mistake from Martin Zubimendi. The Spanard got his back pass wrong and the ball fell to Bryan Mbeumo and the Cameroonian kept his cool before scoring past David Raya into the empty net.

The Red Devils took the lead as Patrick Dorgu turned into prime Gareth Bale as he exchanged passes with Bruno Fernades before unleashing a rocket from outside the box to make it 2-1. That goal forced Mikel Arteta into multiple changes as he took off Piero Hincapie, Gabriel Jesus, Martin Odegaard, Martin Zubimendi and brought on Ben White, Viktor Gyokeres, Eberechi Eze, Mikel Merino.

Manchester United removed goalsccorer Bryan Mbeumo, makes way for his fellow summer signing Matheus Cunha. But it was Arsenal that got the equaliser as Senne Lammens tried to punch through a crowd of players but got nowhere near it and the ball drops to Mikel Merino and the Spaniard scuffs the shot from a couple of yards out but it was a yard over the line to make it 2-2.

Matheus Cunha ensured Manchester United produced a special moment with a brilliant shot from 25 yards that curls into the bottom corner and gave the visitors a 3-2 victory at the Emirates. Manchester United last came from behind to win away to Arsenal in the Premier League in February 2005, they won 4-2 that night.
