Chelsea winger Noni Madueke has identified Arsenal star Bukayo Saka as one of the biggest threats the Blues must contain ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.

Softfootball understands that the England internationals are set to go head-to-head once again in one of the standout fixtures of the weekend, with both players expected to play key roles for their respective sides.

Madueke revealed that his rivalry with Saka dates back to their academy days, when he represented Tottenham Hotspur and Saka was coming through Arsenal’s youth ranks.

The Chelsea forward admitted he recognised Saka’s exceptional talent from a young age, noting that the Arsenal winger has developed into the same dangerous player he showed signs of becoming during their youth encounters.

He highlighted Saka’s ability to score goals, retain possession under pressure and consistently make the right decisions as qualities that make him one of the Premier League’s most dangerous attacking players.

Madueke also expressed excitement about facing Saka again, describing Chelsea versus Arsenal as the type of high-profile fixture every player wants to be involved in.

The winger added that, if selected, he will give everything to help Chelsea secure all three points, while insisting there is still plenty of room for improvement in his own performances despite a positive start to the campaign.
