AC Milan midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek has credited former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri for having the greatest influence on his development as a footballer.
Softfootball gathered that the England international believes Sarri’s guidance during their time together at Chelsea helped him reach a new level in his career. Loftus-Cheek explained that the Italian coach gave him the opportunity to grow as a young player while constantly pushing him to improve every aspect of his game.
The midfielder also reflected on AC Milan’s current form, insisting the squad remains fully focused despite recent setbacks. He stressed that the team must stay united, continue working hard in training, and trust the process to achieve better results.
