Softfootball understands that Mohamed Salah continues to carve his name deeper into Liverpool folklore and the Premier League record books, too. After being called back to the Liverpool squad to face Brighton, the Egyptian forward registered an assist that took his total goal involvement tally in the competition to an astonishing 277.
That figure, combining goals and assists, is now the highest ever recorded by a single player for one club in Premier League history.

This was confirmed by sport expert Fabrizio Romano via his official X account.
He posted:
Mo Salah breaks the record for most goal involvement for a single side in Premier League history with an assist today! 𝟐𝟕𝟕 G/𝐀 generated for Liverpool in the Premier League.
Salah’s consistency since arriving at Anfield in 2017 has been nothing short of remarkable. Week after week, season after season, he keeps delivering.
It also confirms his status as Liverpool’s most productive attacking player of the Premier League era, moving beyond benchmarks previously associated with club icons like Ian Rush and Roger Hunt.

The 2024/25 campaign was, by all standards, a defining one. Salah finished the season with 47 goal involvements, made up of 29 goals and 18 assists.
That return matched the all-time Premier League single-season record held by Andrew Cole and Alan Shearer. What makes it even more impressive is that Salah did it in a 38-game season, while those records were set across 42 matches.

He also became the first player in league history to win the Golden Boot, the Playmaker Award, and the Player of the Season in the same campaign. His 18 assists were the most seen in a season since Kevin De Bruyne and Thierry Henry both recorded 20.
Salah has now produced 40 or more goal involvements in two different Premier League seasons, something no other player has managed. He has also gone eight straight seasons with at least 25 goal involvements, edging past Thierry Henry’s long-standing record of seven.

Beyond the numbers, the influence is still obvious. In 2024/25, Salah claimed the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award for a record third time and signed a new two-year contract in April 2025, ending speculation about his future.
At 32, he remains elite, still sharp, still relentless. With over 250 goals, he now sits third on Liverpool’s all-time scoring list, and honestly, he doesn’t look done yet.
