Liverpool Football Club have completed the signing of French striker Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt, in a deal worth up to €95 million, pending final international clearance.
Softfootball reported that the forward had flown in to Liverpool to complete his deal, and now renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano broke the news via his official X handle, confirming that Ekitike has put pen to paper on a six-year contract with the Merseyside club.

Romano wrote;
“Hugo Ekitike joins Liverpool from Eintracht Frankfurt on a six-year contract.
“€80m fixed fee, €10m easy add-ons and €5m difficult add-ons as package for the French striker.
“One more for Arne Slot.”
Liverpool Via their official website, revealed that the 23-year-old forward successfully underwent his medical earlier this week and has already agreed on personal terms.
The statement reads:
“Liverpool FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Eintracht Frankfurt forward Hugo Ekitike, subject to international clearance.”
“The 23-year-old has successfully completed a medical and agreed on personal terms with the Reds, allowing him to fly out to Hong Kong to join his new teammates on their pre-season tour of Asia later this week.”
Ekitike enjoyed a breakout spell in the Bundesliga, scoring 26 goals in 64 appearances for Frankfurt. His performances last season, 13 goals in 29 league games, earned him a place in the Bundesliga Team of the Season.

The young striker had initially joined Frankfurt on loan from Paris Saint-Germain before making the move permanent.
A product of Stade de Reims’ academy, Ekitike’s rise through the French football system earned him a move to PSG, where he won the Ligue 1 title and gained valuable top-level experience.
Liverpool reportedly turned to Ekitike after their attempts to sign Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak were rebuffed. With Isak off the table, the Reds quickly hijacked Newcastle’s interest in Ekitike and moved swiftly to seal the deal.
Ekitike becomes Arne Slot’s fifth signing of the summer, joining the likes of Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez, Giorgi Mamardashvili, and Florian Wirtz as Liverpool gear up for a new era under their Dutch manager.
