Leicester Hit Rock Bottom with Record Home Defeat

Leicester City set an unwanted Premier League record as they suffered a crushing 4-0 defeat to Brentford at the King Power Stadium on Friday night.

The loss marked their sixth consecutive home defeat without scoring an unprecedented run in English top-flight history.

The Foxes, battling relegation under head coach Ruud van Nistelrooy, desperately needed a turnaround but were outclassed once again.

Brentford struck through Yoane Wissa, Bryan Mbeumo, Christian Nørgaard, and Fábio Carvalho, sealing a dominant victory.

Van Nistelrooy admitted the gap in quality was evident: “The level between us and Brentford was simply too big after the first 10-15 minutes. We had a strong start, but they were lethal.”

Former Leicester captain Wes Morgan echoed the concerns, describing the team as “fragile” and warning of tough upcoming fixtures against West Ham, Chelsea, and Manchester United. With their defensive frailties exposed, the Foxes face an uphill battle to salvage their season.
