he said:

We’ll certainly travel to the stadium a bit earlier. The main thing is that everyone gets to the match well and safely. I also hope the performance is worth for it for our fans who make the effort to come to the stadium. It’s a positive that the boys are fit and I hope it stays that way until the end of the season. We’ll rotate these players as often as possible. Basically it’s a positive situation. If all goes well today, we’ll have a full squad again tomorrow.

He got a break in December, which was important for him at that moment. But then we had seven games in 20 days again in January. He has tremendous energy; Lucho is a machine. Sometimes there are moments when it’s difficult, but he shows exactly the same energy in training on Mondays.

Kompany confirmed Manuel Neuer will start in goal, while reiterating Bayern’s long-term development plans for Jonas Urbig. On the importance of the DFB-Pokal, the Bayern boss insisted there is no hierarchy among competitions:

Manuel Neuer will start tomorrow. We always have to treat the goalkeepers a bit specially. Jonas Urbig’s progression and the plans for him development are something we’ve been talking about for a long time. He’s already played in important games for us, and he’ll continue to get games in the future.

Still on Bayern news, Díaz recently grabbed the first hat-trick of his Bayern career as the German champions responded to recent draws with a dominant 5–1 win over 10-man Hoffenheim.
