Juventus Look to Edge Past Atalanta in Tight Coppa Italia Battle

Atalanta may have enjoyed recent European success, but their last Coppa Italia trophy came all the way back in 1963. They came close two years ago, losing the final to Juventus, and will be desperate to go one step further this season.

Softfootball reported that Raffaele Palladino’s side started this cup run with a strong 4–0 win over Genoa and have been solid in the league, sitting seventh in Serie A.

They showed real fight at the weekend, holding Como to a 0–0 draw despite playing almost the entire match with 10 men.

Juventus arrive in Bergamo in good form under Luciano Spalletti. The Bianconeri knocked out Udinese in the last round and have climbed into the top four in Serie A. Recent wins over Napoli and Parma show their growing confidence, and they are also through to the Champions League knockout phase.

Atalanta may rotate after their exhausting draw at Como. Gianluca Scamacca is pushing to start, while Giacomo Raspadori continues to fill the gap left by Ademola Lookman. Only Mitchel Bakker remains out.

Juventus are still without Dusan Vlahovic and Arkadiusz Milik. Kenan Yildiz is a doubt, but Jonathan David is in good form, and Bremer remains a major threat from set pieces.
