Softfootball can confirm Inter Milan continue to regard Curtis Jones as a priority target, with the Italian club maintaining their interest in the Liverpool midfielder since May.
Inter now believe a deal could be possible for around €35 million, although they will not submit a new proposal until Davide Frattesi’s expected departure is completed.
Despite the delay, Inter remain determined to return for Jones before the summer transfer window closes. The club are closely monitoring the situation and are expected to make another attempt once the necessary space is created in their squad.
Jones remains an important player for Liverpool, meaning Inter will need to convince the Premier League club to sanction his departure if they are to complete the deal.

The experienced defender has signed a two-year contract with the Nerazzurri after leaving Manchester City as a free agent.
The 32-year-old has now been unveiled in Inter’s famous black and blue colours, bringing an end to his decade-long spell at the Etihad Stadium and beginning a new chapter in Serie A.
