Former England striker Peter Crouch believes Victor Osimhen has all the qualities needed to succeed in the Premier League following the Nigerian’s outstanding display for Galatasaray in the UEFA Europa League.
Softfootball understands that Crouch made the remarks after Osimhen scored twice in Galatasaray’s 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday, handing the North London club their first defeat of the Europa League campaign this season.
The former Liverpool and Tottenham forward praised Osimhen’s physical attributes, describing him as a complete striker who combines strength, power, aerial dominance and excellent technical ability.
Crouch also suggested that the Nigerian’s spell at Galatasaray could be a stepping stone before securing another major move, adding that the striker’s next transfer will be a defining moment in his career.
The ex-England international believes Osimhen has the quality to play for almost any top club in world football and hopes the Super Eagles forward remains in European football rather than making a move to the Saudi Pro League.
