The Portuguese has been inn outstanding form this season and lead Manchester United to a 4-4 draw against Bournemouth in their last match with a brilliant freekick goal and assist.

Fernandes was a guest of Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand on his official podcast where he revealed the excitement of playing in the current Red devils squad. He said:
I really like the mix we have in the dressing room now because it makes me feel very young, the energy they have, the way we involve everyone together, they don’t make jokes with me like take the car, open the car, that kind of stuffs but hiding clothes, putting like shoes on top of something.
Interestingly, Saudi Arabia clubs are interested in Fernandes but he is holding out for a stay with Manchester United. The creative midfielder has been one of the outstanding players for the club and the premier league in general.

Despite playing in a deeper central midfield role, he has adapted very well and helping Ruben Amorim’s side to control tempo of matches, using his passing range and break lines, complementing wide attackers. He has scored four goals with six assists in the Premier League this season.
