The last ground on his list was Liverpool’s Anfield and he finally broke that duck on February 8, 2026, converting a stoppage-time penalty in City’s dramatic 2–1 comeback win.

Before that night, Anfield had been Haaland’s only active Premier League stadium without a goal. The only ground where he has played but still hasn’t scored is Sunderland’s Stadium of Light, where City were held to a 0–0 draw earlier in 2026.

The Anfield strike added to a record-breaking season for the Norwegian. Back in December 2025, Haaland became the fastest player in Premier League history to reach 100 goals, hitting the landmark in just 111 appearances. That smashed Alan Shearer’s previous record of 124 games and left other greats like Harry Kane, Sergio Agüero, and Thierry Henry trailing behind.

Softfootball and other outlets say Haaland is still in full “robot mode.” He recently scored twice in a 3–1 win over Newcastle United, showing the ruthless edge that Pep Guardiola often describes as “emotionless execution.” As of February 9, 2026, Haaland is on 21 Premier League goals and 28 in all competitions this season.

With a long-term deal tying him to City until 2034, Haaland keeps raising the bar one stadium at a time.
