Strasbourg could welcome another wave of Chelsea talents this summer, with up to five players reportedly being lined up for loan moves as part of the ongoing partnership between the two clubs under shared ownership by BlueCo.

This strategic collaboration looks set to continue in 2025 as Chelsea seeks to trim its squad and offer valuable playing time to young prospects.

Last season, Serbian goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic and Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos featured for Strasbourg on loan but have now returned to Stamford Bridge.

However, more names are expected to follow the same path, especially as Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca looks to reshape his squad and offload players surplus to requirements.

In goal, Strasbourg are in search of a new first-choice option. Chelsea’s Filip Jorgensen (23) and Mike Penders (19) are two candidates being considered to fill the vacancy, with both currently sitting behind Robert Sanchez in the Blues’ hierarchy.

The Alsatian club recently made the signing of Irish international Andrew Omobamidele permanent following a loan from Nottingham Forest.

Yet, reinforcements in central defence are still required, especially after the €14 million sale of Mamadou Sarr to Chelsea and the looming exit of Ismaël Doukouré. Argentine defender Aaron Anselmino (20) is one of the names in contention to bolster the backline.

Strasbourg are also weighing up midfield additions. Two Chelsea youngsters have been mentioned as options: 18-year-old Kendry Paez, an Ecuadorian with a more attacking profile, and 19-year-old Mathis Amougou, a defensive midfielder signed from AS Saint-Étienne for €15 million earlier this year. Both could offer different tactical solutions depending on what Strasbourg’s setup demands.

As BlueCo continues to leverage the synergy between Chelsea and Strasbourg, the French side looks set to benefit from a fresh influx of Premier League-trained talent—while also giving Chelsea’s rising stars much-needed first-team experience.
