Softfootball confirms that the proposed transfers of N’Golo Kanté to Fenerbahçe and Youssef En-Nesyri to Al Ittihad are officially off after FIFA rejected appeals from both clubs. The decisions were reached after documentation issues prevented the deals from receiving clearance through the Transfer Matching System (TMS).

Despite verbal agreements being in place, the required documents were submitted at the very last minute, and no approval was granted. As a result, both Fenerbahçe and Al Ittihad were unable to secure the necessary green light from FIFA, forcing the clubs to abandon the moves entirely. The development was confirmed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on his official X handle.

He stated:

N’Golo Kanté to Fenerbahçe and Youssef En-Nesyri to Al Ittihad, deals are both OFF. FIFA reject the appeal from both clubs, as it was verbally agreed but 𝒏𝒐𝒕 here we go due to documents problems.

Before the collapse, En-Nesyri had been expected to make a major decision regarding his future, with strong interest from several European clubs including Aston Villa, Juventus, and Napoli. The failed move now reopens the race for his signature.

In a separate development, Karim Benzema has agreed to all personal terms with Al Hilal. The French striker is now set to join the Saudi Pro League side after contract talks with Al Ittihad broke down, potentially marking another high-profile switch within Saudi football.
