Super Falcons goalkeeper Fatima Oloko has brought her time with Abia Angels to a close following an impressive 2025/26 season that saw her emerge as one of the NWFL’s leading goalkeepers, Softfootball Nigeria gathered.
Softfootball Nigeria understands, Oloko was instrumental in Abia Angels’ historic campaign, producing a string of outstanding displays between the posts. Her consistency earned her the NWFL Goalkeeper of the Season award after she recorded 12 clean sheets throughout the campaign.
She also played a key part in helping Abia Angels secure a place in the NWFL Super Six for the first time in the club’s history, further underlining her importance to the team’s success.
Her performances did not go unnoticed at international level, with the shot‑stopper receiving her first‑ever Super Falcons invitation.
Having officially confirmed her departure, Oloko now leaves Abia Angels with her stock significantly higher than it was at the start of the campaign. Her next club is expected to be announced in the coming days as she begins the next stage of her career.
