Crystal Palace midfielder Ebere Eze believes the Eagles are well positioned to enjoy a much stronger 2025, insisting the squad has the mentality and determination to climb the Premier League table, with Softfootball understanding Palace are aiming to build on their recent improvement after a difficult start to the season.
The England international has been one of Palace’s standout performers this campaign, producing several influential displays as Oliver Glasner’s side battles to move further away from the relegation zone.
Despite the team’s progress, Eze admitted Palace are still short of the standards they have set for themselves and believes there is much more to come in the second half of the season.

Speaking to Palace TV, he said: “We want to do better than we’ve done so far this season. We’re not where we want to be now, for sure.”
The creative midfielder, however, expressed confidence that the club is moving in the right direction and believes their mindset will help them achieve their objectives.
He added: “But I feel like we’re in the right place; we’re in the right frame of mind. We’ve got the right mindset, and I feel like we’ll kick on.”
