Super Eagles of Nigeria forward, Victor Boniface is subject of recent transfer speculation as he is open to leaving former Bundesliga Champions, Bayer Leverkusen this summer, Softfootball understands.
According to football transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri, European giants AC Milan have entered the race to sign the Nigerian striker and have open talks with his representatives.

The Rossoneri’s are desperate to add the fire power of Boniface to their attack for next season and new manager Massimiliano Allegri is a huge fan of the former Union Saint-Gilloise striker.
Boniface scored 14 goals during the 2023/24 season as Leverkusen were crowned Bundesliga champions, going the whole season without defeat.
The goals reduced in his second season with Leverkusen as he managed eight goals in just 19 Bundesliga appearances due to absence through injuries.
Interestingly, Boniface almost joined Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr in January but the deal collapsed on transfer deadline day as the club signed former Aston Villa player Jhon Duran.
Leverkusen would like to sell Boniface and create space for an ambitious swoop for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, who is surplus to required at the Turin club.
Juventus even offered Vlahovic to Manchester United in a desperate swap deal for Jadon Sancho but the Red Devils were not impressed by the proposal as they wanted another profile type of player.

The Serbian international has got just 12 months left on his Juventus contract but doesn’t want to renew at the club. Vlahovic wants a new challenge and believes that the Bundesliga with Leverkusen could be perfect for him.
Softfootball reported earlier that Boniface is prepared for Leverkusen exit this summer. The forward was once worth €50 million but AC Milan can purchase him for a reduced fee of around €30m due to his inconsistent availability.
Boniface missed out on the last Africa Cup of Nation (AFCON) with Nigeria due to injury and that followed him into the new season with Leverkusen.
