Borussia Dortmund lead the race to sign young defender Liam Claude Kanté from NK Lokomotiva Zagreb. Bayern, Hoffenheim, RB Salzburg and Italian clubs are also keen and showing interest.

The German club are currently ahead of strong competition from FC Bayern Munich, TSG Hoffenheim, RB Salzburg, and several Italian sides, all closely monitoring the young centre-back.
Kanté, who was born in Zagreb and represents Croatia at youth level, has quickly emerged as one of the most promising defensive talents in his age group. Since debuting in September 2024, he has made six appearances for the U15 national team, scoring once, while continuing his development with Lokomotiva’s youth setup after progressing from NK HASK Zagreb.

Meanwhile, former club icon Marco Reus has recently advised Jadon Sancho to prioritize the right environment as he considers his next move.
