D Real Kombo has reacted to Arsenal reaching the Champions League semi-finals again on his official YouTube channel, but he is not impressed with the mood around the club. In his latest YouTube video, he questioned why many fans are still unhappy despite such a major achievement.

Arsenal secured a place in the semi-finals after overcoming Sporting CP, marking back-to-back appearances at this stage. However, Kombo pointed out that the performance did not excite supporters, which has led to frustration.

Explaining his view, he said:

Arsenal are through to the semi-finals back to back, and that is not easy. But fans are not happy because the performance was not great. Yes, they expected to beat Sporting comfortably, but look at the injuries Arteta is dealing with. Key players like Timber, Calafiori, Odegaard and even Saka have had issues, and these players are very important to how Arsenal play.

The real problem is the attack. The attackers are not playing well enough. When you watch Bayern Munich, you see quality and connection in attack, but with Arsenal, players like Martinelli and Trossard are not at that level. The team does not create enough chances for the striker.

After this season, Arsenal must invest in top attackers, not average players. They need a player like Vinicius Junior to take the attack to another level. Still, fans need to calm down. Back to back semi-finals is not easy. This is the time to support the team, not complain. If they finish the season without trophies, then you can question the manager, but for now, support your club.

His comments reflect a growing debate among Arsenal fans, with some focused on results and others on performances.

Softfootball believes Kombo’s message highlights the importance of patience, especially during a period where the team is still developing into a consistent title-winning side.

Following the result, manager Mikel Arteta praised the team’s resilience and mentality, describing their run to the semi-finals as a sign of growth and belief within the squad.

In the same match, Martin Zubimendi stood out with a strong performance and was recognised as the top player on the pitch, underlining his growing influence in big games.

In the end, the message is simple Arsenal may not be perfect right now, but they are making progress, and this is the moment fans need to stand behind the team.
