The transfer deadline is pushing to be extremely interesting as Crystal Palace are waiting before AC Milan to complete the medical and signing of Jean Philippe Mateta before announcing the deal for Jørgen Strand Larsen from Wolves, Softfootball understand.
The Sansiro landlords are desperate to add a number nine to their Arsenal and after Mateta told the Eagles he wants to leave, Palace immediately sealed a deal with Wolves for Strand Larsen but they need the France striker to leave for Italy before they complete the deal.
According to Fabrizio Romano via their official X handle, Crystal Palace are keen to see the deals happen but need to wait for AC Milan to arrange his medical and meet his €40 million valuation. He revealed:

Mateta joined Crystal Palace in January 2021, initially on loan from Mainz 05 before a permanent deal in 2022. The 28-year-old forward netted 17 goals in 46 games during a standout 23/24 season.
Mateta has made over 150 appearances for Crystal Palace, scoring over 45 goals. He is under contract with Crystal Palace until 30 June 2027.
