Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has spoken warmly about Jude Bellingham, his former teammate, saying he misses the player, Softfootball reports.

His words came after the match against Real Madrid where they beat them 2-1 to re-emphasize their strength in the Champions League. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shared Haaland’s words on his official X handle, saying:
Erling Haaland: “Jude Bellingham is such a good guy. I miss him, I miss playing with him”.
During the 2020/2021 season, Haaland and Bellingham were teammates at Borussia Dortmund and formed a close partnership on the pitch. Bellingham has always been one of the most talented players in football known for his energy and skills even in Dortmund.
Haaland was one of Europe’s most talented goals-corers and together, they helped Dortmund compete strongly in the German Bundesliga and in European competitions.
Bellingham later left Dortmund to join Real Madrid, one of the biggest clubs in the world. Since then, his impact, including during the Champions League match against Juventus has continued to show how bright he is shining at Real Madrid.
On the other hand, Haaland who recently broke record to be the fastest player to reach 100 goals in the Premier League has continued his incredible goal-scoring form at Manchester City.

Now, playing in separate leagues doesn’t stop their friendship and mutual respect as reflected in Haaland’s comment about missing Bellingham.
Both players are considered among the best in their generation and hopefully, they will stand strong as they walk their different paths.
