Chelsea have officially completed the signing of Valentín Barco from RC Strasbourg Alsace after all documents relating to the transfer were signed.
Softfootball understands that the move follows an agreement reached in May 2026, with the 21-year-old Argentine midfielder now set to become one of the first additions under new head coach Xabi Alonso.
Capable of operating in central midfield, at left-back, or in more advanced roles, Barco’s versatility is viewed as a major asset as Chelsea continue reshaping their squad ahead of the new campaign.
