Okan Buruk isn’t entertaining talk of a January exit for Victor Osimhen. The Galatasaray manager addressed swirling transfer speculation around the Nigerian striker, insisting the season-long loan arrangement with Napoli will run its full course as planned, regardless of interest from elsewhere.

Softfootball can confirm Buruk based his confidence on direct conversations with the player, telling NTV:
Osimhen intends to stay here until the end of the season. He also wants to stay and has been telling me the same thing since the beginning. There is a clause, but it doesn’t matter, he said he will stay. The important thing is the player, it is the player who decides and Osimhen says he will stay here. He said the same thing when he came.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan in September as one of the biggest names to move within Turkish football in years, and his form has quickly justified the fee.
He has repaid Buruk’s faith with eight goals and four assists in nine appearances across all competitions, giving the manager little reason to doubt his commitment.
