Karim Benzema has just accepted every detail of Al Hilal contract proposal sent today! Deal now depends on club to club final steps with Benzema waiting for Al Hilal communication.

Even though he has agreed on personal terms, the deal is not fully official yet. There’s still some coordination needed between Al Hilal and Al Ittihad before anything is signed. Benzema, 38, now waits for the club to give the final green light to make it happen.

This report comes after contract renewal talks apparently broke down between Benzema and Al Ittihad. Sources say he felt insulted by the offer, which his camp described as basically asking him to play for free outside of image rights.

A move to Al Hilal means shifting from Jeddah to Riyadh and also going up against former rivals both domestically and in continental competitions.

Al Hilal, who recently defeated Al Nassr 3-1 in the Saudi Pro League, are currently top of the league; the club sees Benzema as a key signing to reclaim the title they lost to Al Ittihad in 2025.

His experience and his winning mentality could really change things for them, not just at home but also in the Asian Champions League.

The transfer also has bigger implications. Both Al Hilal and Al Ittihad are backed by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), which reportedly intervened to keep Benzema in the Saudi league despite interest from Europe. Fans now wait for the final agreement between clubs, but it seems like Benzema in blue could be a reality very soon.
