Premier League legend David Beckham has praised Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka, describing him as an exceptional player and an outstanding role model.

Softfootball highlights that Beckham’s admiration extends beyond Saka’s performances on the pitch, with the former England captain also applauding the Arsenal star’s character and charitable efforts.

Saka has continued to earn praise for his work in the community, including funding 120 life-changing surgeries for children in Kano through the BigShoe charity and donating more than 100 football boots as part of Football For Good Day in partnership with the Street Soccer Academy.

Reflecting on Saka’s qualities during an appearance on Rio Ferdinand’s podcast, Beckham said he loves the winger both as a player and as a person, praising the way he represents football on and off the field.

Beckham also noted that despite Saka’s commitment to helping others, the England international remains fully focused on improving his game and delivering for both Arsenal and his country. He added that Saka embodies everything expected of a modern number seven and believes the winger is setting an example for young footballers everywhere.
