Marcus Rashford will wear the jersey number 14 at Barcelona next season as unveiled by the club. Softfootball reported that Rashford sealed his loan move to Barcelona from United after a long tussle of interest.
Barcelona turned to Rashford after they were left stranded by their main transfer target, Nico Williams who rather than joining Barcelona signing a contract extension with Athletic Bilbao extending his stay with the club to another 8 years and increasing his buyout clause to 100m.

Barcelona who are restricted to battle clubs financially in the transfer window because of their constraints grabbed Rashford, who was reported to want only a Barcelona move, at the slightest chance they got.
The loan deal details will see Barcelona cover Rashford’s wages in total and will also have the opportunity to buy the English attacker for a lower fee of £30m at the end of his loan.
Barcelona posted a video on their verified X handle that saw Rashford being handed his new jersey by club president.

The Catalans having issues offloading the goalkeeper who has decided to stay at Camp Nou till the end of his contract. Barcelona need to get Ter Stegen off their wages to help balance the books for next season and help their financial struggles.
Rashford’s joins Garcia as the only players to have been signed by Barcelona this transfer window. Rashford in-fact becomes the only outfield player to be signed so far.
The club is reportedly still transfer window looking for players but are also finalizing contract extension deals for a host of their current players.
Rashford is on loan for the rest of the season and will hope to impress the Barcelona management and technical crew to stay beyond his loan year at the club.
