Speaking after the match @haywhie is furious with the match referee.

I think it’s time Laporta need to address the issue of referee being biased towards FC Barcelona everytime. I can’t remember the last time a ref award penalty to Real Madrid and after going to the VAR it was overturned.

Rather than blame the referee @Spigg1115 talked about Barcelona’s poor defense.

The defence is our biggest problem. We can’t only count on Joan to do miracles every game. They created danger 2,5 times and scored twice. We are under pressure way too easily. This has to change cause last season it cost us a champions league final, with a « stronger » one and Inigo, but this year, no real leader behind.
this is a good reminder that there’s still some work to progress. we still on top. let’s win the next game in the CL. VISCA Barça.

@Bipekthe added his opinion on the referee topic.

The referee and the ball weren’t on Barcelona’s side in today’s match. The referee tried very hard to prevent Barcelona from winning, and Real Madrid is back in the title race.

@OutAux believes the absence of Brazilian star Raphinha affected Barcelona.

Despite the dirty play and tactics, it just wasn’t our night. Plenty of opportunities, Olmo should have done better with his chances and perhaps should have been subbed off at half…no Raphinia no party.

Barcelona are still top of the table and will return to the UEFA Champions League with a fixture against Slavia Praha on Wednesday.
