Softfootball understands The new kit launch comes after a remarkable campaign for Unai Emery’s side, with Villa securing a top-four Premier League finish and lifting the UEFA Europa League trophy following a stunning 3-0 victory over SC Freiburg in Istanbul. Emery praised the squad for ending the season in an “outstanding way” as the club continues its resurgence on both domestic and European fronts.
Villa revealed the shirt through a short film inspired by the iconic Pathe newsreel format, with supporters reacting positively to the retro-inspired look across social media. The 2026/27 home kit will officially go on sale from 9am on Thursday, May 28 at Villa Park.

To celebrate the launch, Aston Villa have also planned several fan events, including opportunities to take photos with the UEFA Europa League trophy at the Sports Illustrated Warehouse. Former players are expected to attend, alongside fan activities such as face painting, interactive games, and prize giveaways.
