Softfootball understands that Al Nassr ended their AFC Champions League Two group stage in emphatic fashion on Christmas Eve, brushing aside Al Zawraa with a dominant 5–1 victory at King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh.
After the victory, Al Nassr announces Kingsley Coman as the man of the match via their official X account.
They posted:
When the whole team shines… Coman shines a little brighter, MOTM.

Al Nassr, who recently defeated Istiklol Dushanbe 4-0 in their last game in the competition and also defeated Al Wahda 4-2 in an entertaining friendly, have been in fine form lately.
They started the game by moving the ball quickly, pressing high, and looking in no mood to ease off. The result sealed a perfect group campaign, six wins from six matches, with 22 goals scored and only two conceded, numbers that speak for themselves really.

The opening goal arrived early. In the 12th minute, Kingsley Coman found space inside the box and finished calmly after a neat assist from Angelo Gabriel. It was Coman’s first real moment in the competition, and it opened the floodgates.
Seven minutes later, Wesley doubled the lead, reacting quickest after Al Zawraa failed to deal with a loose ball in their area.

Al Nassr kept coming. Abdullelah Al Amri, usually solid at the back, made it 3–0 in the 29th minute, rising above everyone from a João Félix set-piece to power a header home. The visitors looked stunned, struggling to cope with the pace and movement.
Just before halftime, the stadium lit up again. Ronaldo, dropping deeper than usual, slid a perfectly weighted pass through to João Félix, who finished with ease in the 44th minute. Ronaldo was taken off early in the second half.

Al Zawraa did show a brief reaction after the break. Nigerian forward Ibrahim Tomiwa Gbadamosi pulled one back in the 50th minute with a tidy finish, giving their fans something to cheer.
It didn’t last long though. Six minutes later, Coman completed his brace, finishing a move assisted by Sultan Al Ghanam to restore the four-goal gap.

Under Jorge Jesus, Al Nassr looked composed and ruthless. Coman stole the headlines, but goals from Wesley, Al Amri, and Félix underlined the depth in the squad.
For Al Zawraa, it was a tough night and a difficult group campaign overall, even if the goal offered small relief.
As the final whistle blew, Al Nassr celebrated a flawless group stage and now turned their focus to the Round of 16. With domestic competitions also waiting, this Christmas Eve performance felt like the perfect gift for the fans and maybe a warning of what comes next.
