The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially released the starting lineups for the AFCON 2025 semi-final match between Senegal and Egypt.

Softfootball gathered that the highly anticipated encounter will be played today, Wednesday January 14, 2026, with kick-off scheduled for 5:00pm British time.

Senegal forward Jackson goes into the match on a yellow-card warning and risks missing the next game should he receive another booking and Senegal progress.

On the Egyptian side, Mohamed Salah, who is among the top three goal scorers heading into the AFCON 2025 semi-finals, leads the attack as Egypt aim for a place in the final.

Meanwhile, Nigeria will also be in action later today, January 14, by 7:00pm British time, when the Super Eagles face the tournament hosts. Former Super Eagles captain Kanu Nwankwo has already rallied support and encouraged Nigerians to back the team ahead of the crucial encounter.
