Weston McKennie has officially signed a new four-year contract with Juventus FC, bringing months of speculation to an end and committing his future to the Serie A giants until 2030.
Softfootball had earlier reported on February 24, 2026, that Juventus were closing in on a long-term extension, with negotiations at the final stages. McKennie’s previous deal had been due to expire at the end of the 2025–26 season, raising the possibility of a free transfer.
However, the club moved decisively to ensure he would not enter the final months of his contract without clarity.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, the 27-year-old has now put pen to paper, ending uncertainty surrounding his future.
Fabrizio posted:
Weston McKennie’s new deal at Juventus, signed and sealed as expected. It will be valid for the next four years.
Since arriving in Turin in August 2020, McKennie has made 220 appearances for Juventus, scoring 26 goals and registering 26 assists. This season, he has elevated his performances further, contributing eight goals and seven assists across all competitions, including four goals in the Champions League.
The midfielder’s journey has not been without turbulence. After a brief loan spell at Leeds United F.C. in 2023, he returned to find himself on uncertain footing, with reports of his locker and parking space reassigned.

Despite renewed exit rumors and growing outside interest as his form improved, McKennie responded with consistent displays that re-established him as one of Juventus’ most versatile and important figures.
Reports indicate that his new contract places him among the club’s higher earners, reflecting his elevated status within the squad and Juventus’ desire to reward his resurgence.
Still on contract developments, FC Bayern Munich are actively working to extend Harry Kane’s deal beyond 2027. Negotiations are ongoing, with financial and personal terms under discussion as Bayern aim to secure the striker as a long-term cornerstone of their sporting project.
