Romano reported as follows:

OFFICIAL: Tottenham confirm Thomas Frank has been sacked with immediate effect. Follows recent results despite manager said last night he was “1000% sure” about being in charge against Arsenal.

In 38 matches across all competitions under Frank, Tottenham recorded 13 wins, 11 draws, and 14 defeats a record that ultimately counted more losses than victories. Growing scrutiny over performances had intensified in recent weeks, prompting internal discussions about the team’s direction.

The decision comes just days after the Danish manager publicly stated he was “1000% sure” he would remain in charge for Spurs’ upcoming clash against Arsenal.

According to the club, Frank was appointed in June 2025 and was given time and support to build a competitive squad for the future. However, the board has now concluded that results and overall performances necessitated a managerial change at this stage of the season.

Elsewhere in football culture, popular Manchester United fan Frank Ilett continues his “no win, no hair trim” challenge launched in October 2024 following United’s 1–1 draw with West Ham at the London Stadium. His ever-growing afro now draws comparisons to midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
