Leeds Look to Extend Strong Home Form Against Arsenal

3 Min Read

Small cracks are starting to show in Arsenal’s Premier League title challenge. A busy schedule and familiar attacking problems have slowed their momentum, and last weekend’s 3–2 home defeat to Manchester United was another warning sign.

Just like in 2021, an interim United manager punished Arsenal at the Emirates. Despite dominating possession, Arsenal struggled to create clear chances from open play, managing just 0.39 expected goals in that area.

Sotfooball Results elsewhere meant their lead at the top was cut to four points, and their away form has dipped, with only two wins from their last six league games on the road.

Arsenal did return to winning ways in midweek with a 3–2 Champions League victory over Kairat, finishing the league phase with a perfect record. Still, the second-half performance raised concerns, as the Gunners again struggled to control the game in attack.
