He found the net in the 26th minute during Morocco’s 2–0 quarter-final victory over Cameroon and also scored the decisive goal in a 1–0 win against Tanzania. Díaz further netted against Zambia, Mali and Comoros in the group stage, meaning he has scored in every AFCON 2025 match he has played so far.

Victor Osimhen – 4 goals (Nigeria)

Nigeria’s talisman Victor Osimhen has been central to the Super Eagles’ impressive run. The 2023 CAF African Player of the Year scored twice in Nigeria’s emphatic 4–0 round-of-16 win over Mozambique and added another goal in the 3–2 group-stage victory over Tunisia.
