Lifelong fans of premier league side, Fulham stormed Marrakech from Ireland to support the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the ongoing 35th Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Softfootball understands.
The father and daughter identified as Allen and Katelyn were in the stands as they watch and cheers Nigeria to a 2-0 victory over Algeria in the quarter final of the AFCON tournament courtesy goals from Victor Osimhen and Akor Adams.

It was a beautiful moment for them as they shared their experience as shared via the official X handle of the Making of Champions. Allen said:
Alex Iwobi plays for Nigeria. Also, Calvin Bassey, Samuel Chukwueze and Ademola Lookman used to play for Fulham. So, we follow Nigeria. We’ve been supporting Fulham all our lives.
They however missed Nigeria’s 4-0 demolition of Mozambique in the AFCON round of 16 where Ademola Lookman won the Man-of-the-Match to help Nigeria book a quarter -final spot.
Nigeria will battle host Morocco inside the 70,000-capacity Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat at the ongoing 35th Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) on Wednesday.

The Super Eagles may need to draw inspiration from the 1980 AFCON where Nigeria beat Morocco 1-0 in the semifinal before lifting the trophy after a comprehensive 3-0 win over Algeria in the final.
