Brighton vs Tottenham confirmed line-up: Kudus, Mitoma start as Simons benched

Brighton against Tottenham stands just like other matches in the EPL fixed for Saturday.  Seeing that the first game of the day between Liverpool and Newcastle ended in a dramatic 2-1 victory for the Reds.

Drama continues as Brighton welcomes London side Tottenham to the Amex stadium this afternoon.

Softfootball can gather that both Brighton and Tottenham will be playing against each other for the second time in 2025, whereas the first one ended in a 4-1 defeat for the Spurs. 

Meanwhile, Tottenham coming from their lone goal win over Villarreal in the champions league,  they set out to put on that fashion against Brighton this afternoon. Although, the Seagulls have a better antecedence against Spurs.

In Softfootball’s analysis, it was revealed that Tottenham have failed to beat Brighton in their last two visits to the Amex stadium.

The Seagulls haven’t lost at home this season, however they are coming from a last week away defeat to Bournemouth. 

With the game starting by 2pm, the official line-up for both teams have been released on their respective X handles.

Kaoru Mitoma starts from the flank for Brighton this afternoon as he seeks to get his second goal of the season after scoring a consolation for the Seagulls last weekend against Bournemouth. Carlos Baleba also returns to the starting lineup.

Thomas Frank starts Mohammed Kudus for the fourth consecutive time this season as the Ghanaian winger seeks to get his debut goal for Spurs. Meanwhile, new signing Xavi Simons starts from the bench for Thomas Frank’s side.
