The Spanish gaffer brought on Lee kang-in and Goncalo Ramos in the second half. The two players were the ones who scored for the Paris team as they dragged and eventually won the game on penalties.

The North London team conceded in the 85th and 90th+4 minute to level the game’s scores. Tottenham missed two penalties as Micky van de Ven who had scored the game’s first goal and Mathys Tel missed their spot kicks.

Reacting after the game, Thomas Frank insisted they still want to add more players. He spoke to Tottenham’s official website via the club’s media on this. He elucidated that:

“We’d like to strengthen the squad. No doubt about that.

“We do work very hard to see if we can do that. In general I am very happy with the squad but in any transfer window we try to see if we can make the squad stronger before the window closes.”

Tottenham are currently linked with Eberechi Eze who just won the 2025 FA Community Shield with Crystal Palace. Eze had also inspired Palace to win their first ever trophy – the 2024 FA Cup trophy against Manchester City.
