Chelsea are not linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma amid transfer speculations linking the 26-year-old to the World Champions this summer.
Softfootball understands that Donnarumma has told PSG that he wants to leave the club after turning down contract renewal offers.
The Italian is entering the final year of his contract at the French capital. However, neither party could see eye to eye on renewal terms, forcing PSG to push for a sale.

They’d rather cash in on the 26-year-old this summer rather than lose him on a free transfer next year. Donnarumma has been heavily tipped to move to the Premier League, and Man City and Manchester United have been touted as potential destinations.
Galatasaray and Bayern Munich are reportedly the other European clubs tracking Donnarumma. Earlier in the summer there were speculations that Chelsea are among the clubs looking at the 26-year-old Italy international as they are looking to add competition between the posts for current No. 1
Now, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via his X handle has shut down those rumors, claiming that the Blues are not in active talks to sign the Champions League winner, and a summer move to Stamford Bridge is not an option.
He tweeted:
“Chelsea are not in active talks to sign Gigio Donnarumma despite links.
“He’s not a target as Chelsea are happy with their goalkeepers”.
Chelsea are happy with their goalkeeping set up. Robert Sanchez has established himself as Enzo Maresca’s trusted number one shot stopper, with Filip Jorgensen set to play back up as the Blues head into the new season.
