Galatasaray first Vice-President, Abdullah Kavukcu revealed that Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen may complete his deal with the club within 48 hours, Softfootball reports.
The former Lille striker has been a subject of great speculations this summer as clubs like Manchester United, Al-Hilal and Liverpool fight for his services but the Super Eagles forward is taking his time before picking his next club.
According to report in the Turkish media, Galatasaray are ready to pay Osimhen’s release clause of 75 million Euros after having two bids rejected by Napoli as they insist on receiving the full amount and no add-ons.

The club’s second Vice-President Metin Ozturk told the Turkish Financial Ordinary General Meeting in Ankara:
“Our President and (First) Vice-President Abdullah Kavukcu have been tasked with this (signing Osimhen). We’ve made the necessary offer to Napoli for Osimhen. The matter will be resolved in the next 48 hours.
“Osimhen definitely wants to come to Galatasaray. We also want Osimhen to be with us. But he is currently a Napoli player.”
The Turkish champions have also agreed personal terms with the player. Football-italia also claims that Galatasaray entourage had a meeting in Italy with Napoli on Wednesday afternoon but details were not given. George Gardi, the intermediary working on the deal said:
“We’re working on it, let’s see how it goes. There is a desire, evidently. Let’s see.”

It has always been Osimhen’s wish to play in the Premier League and has been seen wearing a Chelsea shirt in the past and flirted with the idea of representing Manchester United but so far, apart from Galatasaray in Europe, Al-Hilal was the only official bid received by Osimhen’s camp in this summer transfer window.
Osimhen scored 37 goals and eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions on loan for Galatasaray. Osimhen has already communicated his desire to extend his stay with the Turkish champions after accepting a lucrative offer reportedly worth €16 million per year.
