Following the confirmation of Diogo Jota and his brother, Andre Silva’s death by Liverpool, football clubs around the world have began to pay their tribute to the Premier League and UEFA Champions League winner. Softfootball confirmed earlier that Jota and his brother, Andre passed away in a car accident around the North West axis of Spain along the borders of Portugal.

Premier League sides, former clubs and teams around the world began to pay homage the the Portuguese footballers on their social media handles and extending their consolations to the Jota family. The Premier League handle on X paid homage by posting;
Everyone at the Premier League is shocked and devastated to learn of the tragic passing of Diogo Jota and his brother Andre.
Our sincerest condolences go to Diogo’s family, friends, Liverpool FC, and all their supporters at this heartbreaking time. Football has lost a champion who will be forever missed. We will continue to support our friends and colleagues at the club.
Arsenal would also pay their won tribute by quoting the post of Liverpool’s X handle. The Gunners’ X handle said;

Chelsea also paid tributes to the former Wolverhampton Wanderers player. They posted:

Jota’s first Premier League team, Wolverhampton Wanderers wrote their heartbreak message on X. They posted:
We are heartbroken. Diogo was adored by our fans, loved by his teammates and cherished by everyone who worked with him during his time at Wolves. The memories he created will never be forgotten. Our hearts go out to the family, friends and loved ones of Diogo and his brother, Andre.
You will be truly missed, and always remembered.
The English FA also paid their tribute to the players on their X handle by posting;

Portuguese side, FC Porto where Jota and his brother, Andre both stint at the beginning of their careers also posted their tribute to the brothers. They posted;
