Quadri Adediran has officially joined SK Artis Brno on a two-year deal, marking a new chapter in the Nigerian forward’s Czech football journey. The 24-year-old, who previously played for SK Dynamo České Budějovice, is set to strengthen Brno’s revamped squad as they push for promotion to the top division.
Artis Brno, formerly known as SK Líšeň, have undergone significant changes under new owner Igor Fait. Alongside a planned relocation to the Městský fotbalový stadion Srbská — where they’ll share grounds with FC Zbrojovka Brno — the club is aiming to build a competitive side capable of securing top-flight football.
Adediran, a Lagos-born striker, has made 66 appearances in the Czech top division since his arrival four years ago. He began his stint with Dukla Prague before moving to České Budějovice and briefly featuring for Baník Ostrava. Last season, he returned to Dynamo, but the club suffered relegation. Both Brno and his former side will now compete in the Czech second tier.
Sporting director Vlastimil Chytrý identified Adediran early on as a key component for the team’s attacking strategy. The 24-year-old’s pace and aggressive style were seen as an ideal match for Brno’s new offensive system, built to challenge for promotion.
Adediran has netted 31 goals in 130 professional matches, and his estimated market value stands at €300,000, according to Transfermarkt. While specific financial terms of his transfer remain undisclosed, his addition is expected to make a substantial impact.
The Nigerian’s signing signals Artis Brno’s intent under their new identity and leadership. With restructuring well underway and ambition high, Adediran’s arrival could be a major piece in the puzzle as the club seeks to climb back into the top flight.
