Zadok Yohanna Makes EPL Debut with Brighton, Becoming One of Nigeria’s Youngest Ever to Feature in the League

Zadok Yohanna, the Nigerian youngster recently signed by Brighton & Hove Albion, made his English Premier League debut, becoming one of Nigeria’s youngest ever players to feature in an EPL match, during Brighton’s 4–0 demolition of Aston Villa.

Softfootball gathered that Yohanna came on in the 78th minute for Mats Wieffer, featuring for 12 minutes plus added time, and settling quickly into Brighton’s dominant rhythm.

Brighton’s goals came in emphatic fashion:

  • Maxim De Cuyper – 18th Minute
  • Jack Hinshelwood – 30th Minute
  • Jack Hinshelwood – 31th Minute

Brighton had earlier completed the signing of Zadok Yohanna from AIK Stockholm on a contract running until June 2031, winning the race against four clubs for one of Europe’s most sought‑after young wingers.
