Crystal Palace have reached a verbal agreement with Chelsea to sign Axel Disasi on loan, with the French defender now closing in on a move to Selhurst Park.
Disasi is undergoing his medical this morning after the two clubs agreed the terms of the loan transfer.
Chelsea will receive a loan fee, while Crystal Palace will cover the defender’s salary for the duration of the agreement.
The move gives Disasi an opportunity to secure regular first-team football after falling out of Chelsea’s plans, while Palace add another experienced defensive option to their squad.
The latest development comes after Softfootball confirmed that Napoli reached a club-to-club verbal agreement with Chelsea for Benoît Badiashile.

That deal includes a €3 million loan fee, €1 million in add-ons and a €27 million option to buy, with Napoli also agreeing to cover Badiashile’s salary during his loan spell.
Chelsea are therefore continuing to reshape their defensive department, with both Disasi and Badiashile now set to leave Stamford Bridge on loan.
