The midfielder is now expected to become available on a free transfer once the remaining details of the termination agreement are completed.

The latest development comes after Softfootball reported that Guglielmo Vicario had signed his contract as Juventus’ new goalkeeper following his move from Tottenham Hotspur.

Vicario has joined Juventus on loan, with the agreement including an €8 million non-mandatory buy option and a further €2 million in potential add-ons.

His arrival adds depth to the goalkeeping department while giving the Italian international an opportunity to continue his career back in Serie A.

Juventus are therefore making significant changes to their squad, with Arthur’s departure set to free up space as the club continues reshaping its midfield ahead of the new campaign.
