Victor Osimhen has opened up about his strong connection with Galatasaray, describing his time in Istanbul as a privilege.
The Nigerian striker, currently on loan from Napoli, has become a firm favorite among the supporters and teammates since arriving last September.
Speaking after Monday’s draw against Fenerbahce, Osimhen emphasized his appreciation for the entire club structure. He said:
I want everyone to understand something – that I really love this club so much, I love these fans, I love everyone associated with this club. From the president, to the coach, to the staff, everyone associated with this club. So for me, it’s a privilege, and I’m really enjoying my time here.

His performances have justified the hype, with 20 goals and five assists in 25 appearances across all competitions. Softfootball gathered that while Galatasaray are eager to make the deal permanent, several European heavyweights are also monitoring his situation.
Despite the speculation, Osimhen declined to hint at his next move. He added:
To be honest, I don’t know… Last few months, nobody ever thought I would come here to a big club like Galatasaray. For me, I live for the moment. What’s going to happen in the summer, I don’t really know.
For now, the focus remains on finishing the season strongly in Turkey, leaving his long-term destination an open question.
