Rodri Targets Return Before End Of The Season

Manchester City midfielder Rodri has expressed confidence that he will return to action before the end of the season as he continues his recovery from a serious ACL injury, Softfootball reports.

The Ballon d’Or winner revealed he has no fears about making a full recovery, insisting modern medical treatment and the support of City’s medical staff have given him complete confidence throughout his rehabilitation.

Rodri admitted that returning after spending between six and eight months on the sidelines will be a significant challenge, but he remains optimistic about regaining full fitness. The Spain international stressed that his focus is on taking the recovery process step by step without rushing his comeback.

The midfielder also reflected on the celebrations that followed his Ballon d’Or triumph, describing Manchester City’s support as unforgettable. He revealed teammate Mateo Kovacic told him he had never witnessed a club celebrate one of its players in such a remarkable way.

Rodri said the reception from Manchester City made him feel deeply appreciated and added that he would always be grateful to the club for the recognition and support shown during one of the biggest moments of his career.
